With a finely balanced blend of salicylic acid and willow bark extract, this tonic offers a gentle peeling that effectively removes dead skin cells, dirt and sebum and visibly refines your skin's appearance. Signs of the times, such as fine lines and rough spots, fade into the background. The duo of natural vitamin C and resveratrol provides antioxidant protection and a refreshed complexion. Oligo hyaluronic acid provides deep moisture, while aloe vera, panthenol and licorice root extract provide a calming and balancing effect.

Application

After cleansing and/or peeling, apply the Tonic Sensitive generously to a cotton pad and spread over the face, neck and décolleté, do not rinse.
Afterwards, you should always use a sun protection factor of at least 30 as daily care.

For which skin types is this tonic suitable?

This mild tonic is suitable for all skin types but has been specifically developed for sensitive and dry skin. For non-sensitive, conditioned skin, we recommend the Tonic Intense with a salicylic acid content of 2%, while the Purifying Tonic with its AHA complex is ideal for oily and acne-prone skin.

What is the main purpose of a tonic in skincare?

A tonic is used to balance the pH of the skin after cleansing, remove excess sebum, and prepare the skin for the following skincare steps.

How do I use the tonic?

After facial cleansing, the tonic should be applied to a cotton pad and gently swept over the face, neck, and décolleté – do not rinse off.

How often should I use the tonic?

The frequency of using a tonic depends on your skin type and the specific needs of your skin. However, in general, it is recommended to use a tonic twice a day: once in the morning and once in the evening.

Do I have to use a tonic and a cleansing foam together?

While both are useful products on their own, they complement each other best when used together. The cleansing foam removes surface dirt in the first step, while the tonic provides a deeper cleansing and prepares the skin for subsequent skincare.

Does the tonic contain alcohol?

No, like all our other products, our tonic is consistently made without alcohol, colorants, animal ingredients, paraffin, essential oils, silicone oil, perfume, parabens, PEG/PPG, microplastics, phenoxyethanol, nanoparticles, and potentially allergenic fragrances.
