1. DESCRIPTION OF ARBUTIN:
Arbutin is a natural plant compound derived from the leaves of the bearberry plant. It is known for its ability to affect the pigment-producing cells in the skin and inhibit melanin synthesis. Popular in Asia, Arbutin is used for skin brightening and reducing hyperpigmentation and melasma. The brightening effect is achieved by inhibiting pigment production, which requires a long-term application of about six weeks.
2. EFFECT OF ARBUTIN:
Arbutin specifically targets melanin production in the skin and helps reduce the formation of pigment spots. It provides a more even skin tone and contributes to the lightening of hyperpigmentation. The effect of Arbutin is gentle and non-aggressive, making it a safe choice for long-term skincare.
3. USE OF ARBUTIN:
Arbutin is a key ingredient in skincare products aimed at skin brightening and reducing pigment disorders. A good example is the "Red & Pigment Remover" from DOC.BERGER | EFFECT, which specifically addresses hyperpigmentation and redness.
4. SKIN ISSUES THAT ARBUTIN IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST:
- Hyperpigmentation and melasma
- Uneven skin tone
- Premature skin aging and wrinkles
- Skin that requires regulated melanin production
